document.write("Between goverment and ESCOM they have ####ed - up and now i must suffer power outages. If ESCOM had an attitude of admitting their stupidity, and they were seen to be doing their best to correct the situation i would have felt better about this. Their attitude though is stuff you South African taxpayer (the people with whom they have a contract and moral obligation to), you had better reduce your consumption, and by the way we will double the price of electricity for you, even though you already pay 45 cents per kWh, and Zimbabweans etc only pay 10 cents.<br />The obvious hidden agenda here is that the ESCOM powers that be have grandiose designs of being the electricity supplier for the southern african region.<br />Well stuff you ESCOM, power stations are filthy, be they coal fired or nuclear. DON'T destroy my countries environment to supply our neighbouring states. They should suffer the consequences of their support for their despot rulers. Perhaps then they will come around and see that they have to start to follow sound economic and governance policies.<br />Mugabe and his pet dog Mbeki will never criticise each other because they value their personal vows higher than the lives of Zimbabweans dying of hunger, and South Africans being murdered by Zimbabweans.<br />Mbeki and Mugabe WILL eventually be made accountable for their actions, but in the mean time we will all have to suffer their arrogance, or leave the continent.<br />Every day i see that the prediction by whites that blacks are not ready to rule is proven correct.<br />No electricity<br />Useless police force<br />Hospital death traps<br />Inefficient harbours<br />Insufficient and badly maintained roads<br />A looming water cricis<br />What kind of an idiot calls for a 6% economic growth rate, but does not understand that you cannot have that without infrastructure? .
